Charles University is an internationally acknowledged research university. It is comprised of 17 faculties and 4 university institutes. According to the national assessment of scientific results, Charles University represents 15% of the scientific performance of the Czech Republic.

Within the EduTest project, Charles University is represented by the Center for Educational Measurement and Psychometrics, hosted by the Faculty of Education. It builds on their research in psychometric methods and ensures their adaptation to the context of Czech education system. It is also responsible for dissemination of the project outcomes and communication with the application guarantor, school leaders and the expert community.
