Charles University is an internationally acknowledged research university. It is comprised of 17 faculties and 4 university institutes. According to the national assessment of scientific results, Charles University represents 15% of the scientific performance of the Czech Republic.

Within the EduTest project, Charles University was represented by the Faculty of Education and its Institute for Research and Development in Education. Building on its ongoing research in psychometric methods, it ensured their adaptation to the context of the Czech education system. It was also responsible for the dissemination of the project outcomes and communication with the application guarantor, school leaders, and educational professionals.
